A modern reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese Mocco Fundoshi, these limited ladies’ underwear pieces are thoughtfully crafted from hand-spun, handwoven Zaguri silk—produced by the artisans of Nepal Silk.

Zaguri silk is made using a time-honoured process where cocoons are left intact, allowing continuous silk filaments to be extracted gently. To achieve a consistent thread, multiple filaments from different cocoons are delicately twisted together, creating a yarn that is feather-light, soft, and naturally lustrous, with an elegant shimmer that dances along the fabric’s folds.

Consciously Constructed

• Fully lined with the same pure Zaguri silk for an indulgently soft feel against the skin

• Finished with double-folded, stitched cotton tape as an adjustable waist tie

• All seams stitched using 100% silk thread by Kinkame-Shigyou, Japan

How to Tie for Comfort & Security

One end of the waist tie can be looped through and fastened to the other, creating a secure hold that glides gently but won’t come undone. Adjust to your desired comfort and finish with a bow to fasten not to get loosen.
