I love feeling colours, scents, and textures — as well as the rhythm of music and dance.

h2ol has evolved from my previous shop, happy zakka life -AP-, into a living space where I curate creations — my own and those of artists from Japan, the U.K., and Nepal.

Born and raised in Japan, I moved to the U.K. in 2009, building a family life while continuing my long connection with Nepal — a journey that has shaped my creative roots for over two decades.
I now see my role as a bridge between cultures and people.

Through h2ol, I wish to share the beauty of living as your true self — and to offer creations that remind us of joy, connection, and presence. I hope your time here brings small sparks of excitement and moments of discovery that feel like quiet treasures.

Based in Japan, Ito carefully prepares and ships all domestic orders.

She runs a small, heartwarming restaurant called Ijiwaru Baasan
with her mother in Chino, Nagano — her beloved hometown,
where a few h2ol items are also displayed and available for purchase.

A lover of music, animals, and living plants,
Ito cherishes her natural rhythm of life and often spends her free time at live music shows.

She’s a wonderful cook who has shared her meals with people from all over the world —
and her gentle hands and kind spirit quietly flow into the world of h2ol too.
She wishes to share the quiet beauty found in things made by human hands.
